Whizkid asks:

How do I transfer music from ipod to Computer?

I guess itunes does not allow us to do that. One way to get the music files out of your ipod is to enable the disk mode using itunes. Then open the ipod from "My Computer". If you see a folder called "ipod Control" open that. If you do not find that folder, go to View - > Folder Options-> Show Hidden Files from the windows explorer. The "Ipod Control" Folder will then show up. Browse to music folder, you will find various folders. Each of these folders would have music files, but their name changed to a 4 letter word. You can copy these files and open in Windows Media Player to see the Title and other information of the files. Hope this helps !

There are few softwares which allow us to do this, but I haven't tried them. I do not want to comment about them.

Anyother ways?

visit the link above... the program is called ipod2pc

i use this to transfer songs from home to work, it is a small program. once installed i copied the program onto my ipod nano first gen.

once installed just go to my computer > devices > ipod

look for program, run it, then go to settings and select where you want to files to be downloaded to, then select what songs you want, then click copy. (sometimes when you open the program from the ipod, you might get an error or warning, just disregard, something about need to reinstall)

easy as that, and works great!
